Plan access
Assess the ceiling space, equipment weight, supports, and route for removal.

Difficult-access replacement
The failed hot-water tank was installed in a suspended ceiling space. Replacing it required a controlled removal plan, safe handling, and careful installation of the new unit.

Real field workThe challenge
The tank could not simply be carried out at floor level. Its elevated position required controlled lowering, protection of the surrounding area, and a plan for placing and supporting the replacement.
Corrosion and visible tank failure made replacement the practical path forward.

Our approach
Assess the ceiling space, equipment weight, supports, and route for removal.
Disconnect and lower the failed tank while protecting the work area below.
Position and support the replacement tank in the existing service area.
Reconnect the system and complete operating and leak checks.
The outcome
The replacement was completed with the access, lifting, support, and plumbing work treated as one coordinated job.
